Major Events Planner (Contractor)

Florida Organic Growers (FOG) is seeking an experienced Major Events Planner to support the execution of three signature events:

  • Organic Food & Farming Summit (2‑day statewide event; approx. 300 attendees)
  • Farm to Table Fundraising Dinner
  • Leadership Meeting in Puerto Rico or the U.S. Virgin Islands

The contractor will lead planning, logistics, vendor coordination, event timelines, and on‑site execution while collaborating closely with FOG’s Programs Director and program staff. Strong project‑management skills, excellent communication, and prior experience managing multi‑component events are required.

SETOPP Activity & Events Planner (Independent Contractor)

Florida Organic Growers (FOG) is hiring an experienced Event Planning Contractor to support the Southeast Transition to Organic Partnership Program (SETOPP) through the planning and delivery of seven major statewide events in 2026.

This contractor will manage end‑to‑end coordination for:

  • In‑person symposiums
  • Partner meetings
  • Farmer town hall
  • Organic inspector training
  • Multi-session stakeholder gatherings

Responsibilities include: event design, logistics, vendor/speaker coordination, registration management, communications support, on‑site facilitation, and post‑event reporting. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and capable of managing overlapping timelines across multiple projects.

Contractors must be based in Florida.
