Quality Certification Services (QCS) is opening up three new regional offices in Oregon, Virginia and Missouri to attract new customers and better serve existing customers.
QCS, the certification program operated by Florida Organic Growers and Consumers, Inc. (FOG), currently operates in 37 states and 13 countries.
"The addition of our regional offices is a result of growth over the past two years, and an effort to better serve clients," FOG Executive Director Marty Mesh said. "We continue to be pleased with the success and achievements of QCS and believe this expansion will provide the resources needed to support the company's strategic objectives into the future."
QCS is a USDA ISO Guide 65 accredited program that offers USDA National Organic Program, Canadian, Japanese and European Union accredited certification. QCS also offers Social Justice, Aquaculture and Vegan certification.
“During these challenging economic conditions, QCS’s focus continues to be providing exceptional customer service and cost-effective certification to people seeking organic certification,” QCS Director Ramkrishnan Balasubramanian said.
Certification Coordinator Javier Fernandez Salvador will operate the office in Corvallis, Ore., Certification Coordinator Beth Rota will operate the office in Columbia, Mo.; and Certification Coordinator Brian Rakita will operate the office in Louisa, Va.
